Dr. Lisa Folden

Dr. Folden was born and raised in Detroit, MI and completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI. Following graduation and one year of work in Kalamazoo, MI, Dr. Folden relocated to Charlotte, NC where she obtained additional experience in a plethora of diverse practice settings.
With more than thirteen years experience in the field of physical therapy, Dr. Folden has treated patients as young as 1-day old and as “seasoned” as 101 years old. Working in various settings including home care, inpatient (hospital), outpatient (adult and pediatrics), long term acute care, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and school systems has allowed Dr. Folden to treat many neurological, orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. These broad experiences have helped to create a practice that can meet the needs of almost any patient. In addition to helping others through her practice, Dr. Lisa enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her husband, Darryl, and their three children.
